Eleven Hungarian institutions, including the University of Pannonia, have been included in the latest international university rankings of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)

This ranking lists the best universities, taking into account a number of important aspects such as academic recognition, the ratio of lecturers to students, and indicators of the international research network.
The presence of the University of Pannonia in this ranking demonstrates that the institution is competitive in the higher education market and that it offers the student and faculty community excellent opportunities for development and a foundation for a successful career.
The ranking of the top 1,500 universities was compiled from data from some 5,600 institutions around the world, according to criteria such as:
- academic recognition,
- employer recognition,
- citation of academic works,
- the ratio of faculty to students,
- the proportion of foreign students,
- an indicator of the international research network,
- and an indicator of graduate employment outcomes and sustainability.
As in previous years, the top QS ranking this year is again topped by MIT, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. However, there have been several changes at the top of the list. While last year's runner-up was the UK's Cambridge, this year it is Imperial College London, which has moved up from sixth place to take the top spot behind MIT.
