Prestigious awards for the University of Pannonia lecturers

On the occasion of the Hungarian Higher Education Day, Veronika Varga-Bajusz, Minister of State for Higher Education, Vocational and Adult Education and Youth of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, presented the Ministerial Professional Awards at the opening ceremony of the academic year of the University of Technology. Two of the University of Pannonia's lecturers received awards in recognition of their activities.

In recognition of her outstanding educational research and educational work in the field of higher education, as well as her internationally recognized school-building activities, Dr. Judit Navracsics, Professor, Head of the Doctoral School of Multilingualism and former Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Pannonia, was awarded the Albert Szent-Györgyi Prize.

Dr. Katalin Eszter Hubai, Associate Professor at the Centre of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, University of Pannonia, was awarded the János Csere Apáczai Prize in recognition of her outstanding work in education and pedagogy and her outstanding scientific work in the field of pedagogical practice.

In recognition of his outstanding support for education, training, adult education and scientific research in Hungary, Dr. György Tamás Markovszky, founder and owner of REALIT Zrt., President of the Veszprém Chamber of Commerce and Industry, patron of science and culture and direct supporter of Veszprém County students through the Magic Wand Foundation, was also awarded the Tódor Kármán Prize.
