The Halloween game held at the University of Pannonia on October 28, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., provided a truly unique experience for the 40 participating students, who worked together to solve the mysteries presented. The event combined fun with challenge: three-quarters of the participants were international students and one-quarter Hungarian, creating a truly multicultural community experience.
A team of 11 international student volunteers, including Agustina Ahanduni from the Faculty of Business and Economics, supported the organization and execution of the event, which allowed participants to immerse themselves in a mysterious storyline. The game, titled “Campus Crime: The Pannonia Enigma,” cast participants as part of an elite investigative team from Interpol and the National Investigation Office, tasked with uncovering the background of mysterious events within the university walls.
Interactive elements of the game enabled students to go beyond mere observation and actively engage in the investigation: they questioned suspects, analyzed clues, and decoded mysterious messages.
“Campus Crime: The Pannonia Enigma” provided both excitement and a skill-building experience for participants, who practiced skills valuable in both their studies and future careers. Positive feedback indicates that many students would happily attend similar events in the future. This program has now become part of the University of Pannonia’s repertoire, offering an event that fosters both enjoyment and personal growth, and it provides an excellent opportunity for students to connect.
Organizers hope that this successful Halloween event will become a lasting tradition at the university, enriching campus life with more community-building and skill-developing programs in the future.
