Exciting hike at the Tanú Hills in the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum project

As part of the Stipendium Hungaricum project, a tour will take place on Saturday 1 June, focusing on the famous Witness Mountains. The event will provide an excellent opportunity for participants to discover the natural beauty and history of this part of Hungary in an exciting 20-kilometre hike.

Discover the wonders of the Balaton Highlands on a fascinating hike!

Tour route: Badacsonytomaj - Bazaltbányák - Kisfaludy kilátó - Bujdosók lépcsője - Badacsonytördemic - Szigliget - Oroszlánfejes kút - Szent György hegy - Bazaltorgonák - Kisapáti

Tour date: 1 June 2024.

Tour leader: Ákos Varga, experienced tour guide

Departure: together from Veszprém on the 7:30 a.m. scheduled bus

Return: from Kisapáti with the 18:15 scheduled bus (Students from Zalaegerszeg and Nagykanizsa are expected to travel separately)

Tour length: 20 km

Kisfaludy Lookout: enjoy the panorama from one of the most beautiful lookouts of the Balaton highlands!

Mount St. George: Visit the famous basalt organs and discover the natural formations!
