Friday's Balaton Regatta programme available

The XXII Balaton Regatta will again be organised by the University of Pannonia on the beach of the Nereus Park Hotel in Balatonalmádi. It is the oldest sporting event of the institution, traditionally held on the last day of the academic term every year.

We are pleased to announce the official programme of the Balaton Regatta, which includes the events of Friday.

On Friday, 17 May, the starting gun will be fired again on the beach of the Nereus Park Hotel in Balatonalmád and the boats of the University of Pannonia will be launched. The XXII Balaton Regatta is the most prestigious, sportive and turbulent team-building event of the spring.

Like last year, team supporters can follow the races live on the beach, but we are also preparing fun and interesting programmes, performances, concerts, DJs, dancing, a chill zone, free beer and this year hot food and goulash soup for everyone. A new feature is the start of a company race, where colleagues from the university's partners Continental, Balluff, Valeo and CoreCommSI will compete against each other.

Important! The deadline to register for the XXII Balaton Regatta is Friday 7 May 2024!

To get to the venue, we will provide two free shuttle buses for the first 96 registrants. The shuttles will depart from Balatonalmádi to Veszprém at 16.00 and 17:30. 12.30: Fourth race - Open race

12.45: Introductory race for individual sea-going boats Race 2

13.15: Company race

13.45: Dr. Zoltán Gaál Memorial Race - PE arms race

14.05: Race of the individual boats - Finals (2 races)

15.00: Announcement of results
