The director duo of There is no Planet B, Gergő Elekes and Virág Horváth, returned to make Planet HOPE, a documentary film of more than one and a half hours, shot in eight locations, with more than 100 actors, extras and crew members, which the filmmakers shot for more than a year within the framework of ÉMNL, at the request of the University of Pannonia.

The filmmakers were inspired by Jane Goodall's visit to Veszprém in 2023 to make a sequel to There is No Planet B. The feature-length documentary Planet HOPE explores what science, church and individuals can do to address sustainability and create a sustainable future. The film revolves around the reflections of atmospheric scientist András Gelencsér, head of the Multidisciplinary National Laboratory for Climate Change, who speaks powerful and frightening truths. Former minister Miklós Persányi, county bishop János Székely and environmental activist Brigitta Ferenczik were also involved in the film. In addition to the speakers, the film also features the visit of Jane Goodall and János Áder to Veszprém, the 2023 Pet Cup, the 2023 Balatonalmád Solar Boat Race, the work of the Sustainability Competence Centre and the 2023 Climate Conference of the Multidisciplinary National Laboratory for Climate Change of the University of Pannonia.

Following There is no Planet B, Planet HOPE also featured Krisztina Nagy, who will be joined by Bálint Hajas, who will be using his journalistic work to explore climate change issues. The music for the film was composed by Gergő Elekes, and the soundtrack album, which will consist of 9 tracks, will be released at the end of 2024. The Hungarian premiere of the documentary will take place in October 2024 at the FOTON Audiovisual Centre.

During its festival tour of less than a month, Planet HOPE has won 7 international awards and one finalist award until mid-August.
