One of the highlights of the day was the campus tour, where experienced student mentors guided newcomers through the university’s facilities, pointing out essential locations such as the library, student service offices, and recreational areas. This hands-on experience allowed students to familiarize themselves with their new surroundings and ask questions in an informal setting.

In addition to informative sessions, Welcome Day also featured interactive activities, icebreaker games, and cultural exchanges that encouraged students to connect with their peers from diverse backgrounds. Many attendees shared their excitement about making new friends and learning about different cultures through engaging discussions and group activities.

Among the most popular activities were the tasting game, where students sampled various international and local delicacies, and the regatta board game, which added a fun and competitive element to the event. These activities provided an excellent way for students to bond while enjoying new experiences.

The event concluded with a networking session, where students had the opportunity to meet faculty members, student ambassadors, and representatives from various student organizations. This provided a platform for meaningful conversations and the chance to explore extracurricular opportunities that align with their interests.

The success of Welcome Day reaffirmed the university’s dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for international students. As the semester progresses, the connections formed during this event will continue to grow, making the transition to university life smoother and more enjoyable for all.

With such an energetic start, the University of Pannonia’s new international students are set for a memorable and enriching academic journey. Here’s to a fantastic semester ahead!
